The Kayaker
The Kayaker
Adrienes' athletic career began when she was at a young age of 5, as a swimmer. But we aren't here to talk about swimming, hopefully. After graduating from World Class Kayak Academy in 2006, she moved to North Carolina to begin her fringe career as a whitewater kayaker. Her sport choice has taken her to some of the most remote places in the world ranging from Uganda to New Zealand to Germany and Ecuador. She has always competed throughout the years and just like all of us, has had some hardships. But, she has excelled in some moments and those are the ones she will always remember. She spends most days on the river either training for the next event or with her river family, smiling and talking the whole way down the river.
